Packed and ready for the off.

My first entry onto the blog is as we are all doing the last minute bits and pieces that everyone needs to do when getting ready to leave on a long trip away from home.
As Team Leader I feel very privileged to lead such a great Team of young professionals, I know are going to be a credit to our Rotary District (1030) and wonderful ambassadors for the North East of England.Preparation has been long and thorough, we have done our best to ensure that we give a good representation of the area in which we live and work.
Our thanks go to The Rotary Foundation, District Officers and Members, families and friends for the help and support we have received over the past months whilst preparing for our trip with special thanks to District Governor Tony Fairley and GSE Co-ordinator David Sadler.
I know we are going to experience warmth and hospitality when we arrive in District 7170 and we are especially looking forward to meeting up with members of their GSE team who were with us last year.
Please keep a regular eye on our blog, the team will endeavour to keep the blog up to date but it is only one of the many tasks facing the team when we are away. Barbara Broadbelt Team Leader
