It seems like only five minutes since we arrived, but today we're moving on from Oneonta to Unadilla. Before we left we spent some time with Opportunities for Otsego, a non-profit organisation based in Oneanto. OFO are a community action agency. They receive funding from a number of sources which is then used to support a number of schemes encouraging social justice. They run everything from Headstart programmes working with families with young children, to services helping the victims of domestic violence. They're doing too much to mention here, but we'd recommend visiting their site for further information. The whole team were fascinated by their work, and we've spent a lot of the day comparing their work with the oftentimes less successful provision back home.
After OFO we made the trip over to Unadilla, and set up camp at the Roswell Wright guesthouse. We met with Jeremy Matviak, a member of the GSE team from District 7170, and had dinner at David and Judy Derr from the Rotary Club of Sidney. We spent the remainder of the afternoon at West Mead Vaco, a major manufacturer of diaries and calendars. Their facility was enormous and we were shattered by the end of the trip.
In the evening we travelled to the Rotary Club of Morris to deliver a presentation. The food was wonderful, the first time that I'd eaten pot roast and hopefully not the last. The presentation went well; it was more of a brief chat and the club were very supportive and friendly. Helen bravely struggled through her presentation despite being struck down by manflu - we've had to explain that concept to everyone we've met. On the way back Royce gave us a lift in his Cadillac, which is another item crossed off the list of things to do while we're here.
Tomorrow we travel to New York City for a whistlestop tour. We'll give a full update of what we've done when we can, but it's bound to be hectic and fun.

Yikes! Beware the cabbies as you attempt to cross the road. Hope you have a great time otherwise. Lots of potential things to see/do/eat/hear/etc.
